I have been in love with Impressionism since I can remember! As a young child, I was always drawing, coloring or involved in some kind of "art project". I chose art as my course of study at Ball State University. Throughout the next twenty five years, children, career and home took priority. Then, children grown and gone, retirement looming, I returned to what I love to do...paint!
Since 2001, I have been painting and teaching Impressionistic oil painting in my own studio. I have also added pastel painting in the last few years. I have been able to study with Dick Ensing, Mary Massey, Angel Mercado, David Dale, David Slonim and others in wonderful workshops around the country.
I do accept commissions from customers and welcome the opportunity to create a beautiful piece of art that pleases both myself and my client.
If you are interested in art classes, I offer oil painting classes in my studio. I teach Impressionist style and offer both day and evening classes. Click on the link for Classes and Workshops to see details.
